Transatlantic Piano Duo

TransAtlantic Piano Duo

The TransAtlantic Piano Duo, with German-born Steinway Artist Evelyn Ulex and Argentinian master Pablo Lavandera, has been performing in Europe and the Americas in venues such as Tilles Center, Carnegie Hall, Metropolitain Museum, Stony Brook University in New York, Berlin’s Konzerthaus and Philharmonie, and the Colón Theater in Buenos Aires.

Their program sheds light to wonderful music from both sides of the Atlantic, both in four hand and solo performances. Their programs are inspired by dance and tango rhythms, from the electrifying “Dance Macabre” by Saint Säens to the colorful and energetic music of Astor Piazzolla and his “New Tango” inspired masterpieces, Samuel Barber’s Ballet Suite, Latin Grammy Winner Argentinean classical composer Claudia Montero and Pablo Ziegler. Their Duo Piano Repertoire include music by Brahms, Schumann, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Satie, Poulenc to name a few.
